Refractory silica mullite brick in cement furnace are also called high wear-resistant refractory bricks.Silica mullite brick is a refractory brick made of mullite, andalusite, silicon carbide and special grade alumina. Silica mullite refractory is kneaded, formed by high pressure and then fired at high temperature. The production of silicon carbide mullite from silicon carbide and high alumina bauxite is in line with the development of refractory brick products. Since silicon carbide is oxidized to form silica, Silica mullite refractory bricks reacts with alumina to form mullite (3Al2O3̇2SiO2). Improve the density and strength of the product, form a protective film on the surface of the product to prevent further oxidation of silicon carbide, maintain a certain content of silicon carbide in high aluminum silicon carbide refractory bricks, improve the stability, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of thermal shock products. . Silica mullite firebrick is understood that some cement rotary kiln kiln bodies are directly combined with magnesium bricks except for the burning belt with a length of about 20m, and refractory castables are used for each of the front and rear kiln mouths of 0.8 m. The rear part of the firing zone, the so-called secondary firing zone,silica mullite refractory bricks is generally the same as the firing zone, and is directly bonded to the magnesium brick, but the kiln skin is difficult to stabilize. Due to the poor thermal shock stability of the magnesium brick, the wear resistance is low, and the joint between the brick and the kiln skin is easy to peel off with the kiln skin, which affects the service life of the segment. The thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and thermal conductivity are not high, silica mullite refractory is required for the process characteristics of the post-transition zone. The service life is 1.5-2 times that of anti-flaking bricks. Good wear resistance is more suitable for cooling belt, the service life can reach more than two years, silica mullite brick is 3-5 times of the life of high alumina refractory brick. Different refractory bricks used in different parts of the cement rotary kiln should be selected according to the working environment of different sections of the rotary kiln.
