RS refractory produced high temperature binding agents are classified into air setting and heat setting tow categories. For every category, it is further divided into lightweight type and heavy type.

High Temperature Adhesive Introduction
 
To ensure the installation integrity of heat preservation project, various kinds of auxiliary products can be equipped, such as high temperature binding agent, glass steel flat panel, alumina foil glass steel composite refractory material and so on. High temperature binding agent is applied in all kinds of heat insulating projects for the cohesion and binding.

High temperature adhesive is phosphate series special inorganic high temperature binder, it is synthesized by liquid agent and powder agent.

Main characteristics: good cohesion property at low temperature, can be used for the binding of alumina silicate products or other heat insulation refractory  material. It has excellent binding property at high temperature, can be directly used for the masonry refractory bricks to build all kinds of furnace walls, the binding tensile strength is higher than 20kg/cm2, the crushing strength is higher than 500kg/cm2. It also has excellent air tightness and thermal shock resistance.     

The Properties of High Temperature Adhesive

1. Ultra high cup joint strength, can be used for the production of prolonged rod and for the repair of high temperature casting defect. It is suitable for the binding, repair and sealing of high temperature working machine parts. Its refractoriness can reach to 1800℃, and can work in fire for long time, the technical problem of that high temperature binding agent can only be used below 1300℃ is solved.

2. High temperature proof inorganic binding agent is high temperature resistant, inorganic nano-composite binder, which is produced by the poly-condensation reaction of inorganic nano-material. Through the selection of ingredients ratio and production craft parameter, so produced binder is suspension dispersed system with neutral pH, it not only has strong cohesion ability and corrosion-free to metal base material, but also has excellent adhesion ability and  corrosion resistance at high temperature, the service life is very long.

3. High temperature inorganic binder is convenient for application, it can be used for the direct cohesion of high temperature proof material. Coating material can directly coated to the surface of base material at 400~1000℃, during the vaporization of water, coating material adheres to the surface of base material and forms even and dense high temperature proof protective layer, the thermal shock resistance is very good, as well as protection effect.

4. Due to its high adhesion ability, it can firmly adhere inorganic materials, the refractoriness of the coating material can reach to 1800℃, except for that, high temperature resistant insulating and heat preservation coating material also has the advantages of insulation, water proofing, heat insulation, damp proofing, combustion resistance, abrasion resistance, acid & alkali resistance, lightweight, convenient application, long service life and so on. 
 
This series of high temperature resistant binding agent can be widely used fore the masonry, repairing and coating of high temperature furnace hearth, furnace wall, fore arch and back arch of various kinds of industrial and citizen boilers. It is also widely used for the hot repairing of various high temperature furnaces and kilns, for example, the hot repairing of unevenness, spalling, cracking, molten erosion, shelling off of firebricks, slab staggering and so on in carbonization chamber of machine coking furnace, the gunning blockage and masonry of electric melting furnace and  smelting furnace.   

High Temperature Adhesive Applications
 

High temperature adhesive is usually used for the masonry and repairing of industrial kilns and furnaces. High temperature resistant binder belongs to inorganic binder, it has high chemical adhesion strength and high temperature resistance( can endure 1800℃ high temperature). Especially for the masonry or repairing of high temperature kilns and furnaces, it can mix with refractory to produce refractory mortar. The kilns and furnaces bricks lined by it has good thermal shock resistance, spalling resistance, rapid cooling and rapid heating resistance, high temperature air current fluxing resistance, refractory bricks are firmly adhered and won’t shell off or leak flame, etc. As there is not sodium ion in high temperature binder, when it is used to binding alumina silicate refractory fiber, it can prevent the powder crystallization of mullite, and it is very convenient for construction and maintenance, 30%~50% of energy can be saved. When high temperature binding agent is used for the masonry of kilns & furnaces or the repairing of kilns & furnaces, the service life of kiln & furnace can prolong 1~3 times, so furnace repairing fees and shut down loss can be reduced.
