The low-creep andalusite high-aluminum brick is made of andalusite as the main raw refractory material, and mullite and kyanite are added with various additives to form a mud material, which is formed by high-pressure molding, drying, and burning at 1500 ° C. The standard size of low creep andalusite high alumina brick is 230*114*65mm.
 
Andalusite is one of the “three stone” raw refractory materials, belonging to the kyanite group minerals, the chemical mode is AL2O3.SIO3, and the high temperature main crystal phase is mainly mullite. The application of kyanite group minerals as raw refractory materials in the refractory industry:
 
(1) The andalusite brick can be directly made into high temperature resistant, thermal shock resistant and low creep by using andalusite as raw material.
 
(2) It can improve the high temperature performance of refractory bricks, such as thermal shock resistance and creep resistance.
 
(3) In the refractory castable, the addition of kyanite is used as a swelling agent to prevent the refractory castable from shrinking at high temperatures and causing the structure to peel off.
 
(4) It can synthesize mullite, which is a high quality refractory raw material.
 
High temperature characteristics of low creep andalusite high alumina bricks:
 
(1) The fire resistance temperature is high, resisting high temperature without melting or softening.

(2) The refractory brick body does not soften at a constant pressure direction and resists high temperature and high pressure.
 
(3) The coefficient of thermal expansion is small, the thermal conductivity is low, and the heat insulation is good.
 
(4) High temperature volume stability.
 
(5) High temperature and high temperature compressive strength and wear resistance.
 
(6) It is resistant to rapid cooling and heat, and it is resistant to frequent thermal stress caused by temperature changes.
 
(7) It is resistant to chemical attack and has strong resistance to soft slag erosion.
 
Low-creep andalusite high-aluminum bricks are mainly used for lining materials of high-temperature kiln with high temperature variation such as blast furnace, hot blast stove, carbon roaster, torpedo car, iron-clad water, glass melting furnace, electric furnace top-mixing iron furnace, etc.
